Privacy policy

My Parky Pal helps you keep a daily record of Parkinson's symptoms, medication and ON/OFF time. This policy explains what we store, why, and how you can delete it. My Parky Pal is a personal tracking tool and does not provide medical advice.

What we store

• Your account details: an email address or a username, and your password (stored only in hashed form).
• The display name you choose.
• What you log: symptom ratings, sleep, mood, notes, ON/OFF and dyskinesia periods, medications and doses, prescriptions, appointments, meals, hydration, exercise, and freezing, fog or fall events.
• The people you invite to view your records, and their email addresses.

This includes health information. We only store what you enter yourself.

How we use it

Only to run the app for you: to show your history, charts and reports, send medication and appointment reminders on your device, and send emails you ask for. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use tracking or analytics to profile you.

Who can see it

• You, when signed in.
• People you invite through Sharing. Depending on what you choose, they get view-only access for a set time, view-only access until you revoke it, or caregiver access that also lets them add and change entries in your daily log and appointments.
• Anyone you choose to email a report to.
• The services that host the app and send its emails, which process data only to provide that service: Supabase (database and sign-in) and Lovable (hosting and email). Technical error reports may be sent to Lovable to help fix problems.

Reminders

In the phone app, the reminders you choose (medication, water, appointments, daily log and weekly review) are scheduled on your device using your medication times and appointments. Your reminder and haptic settings are stored only on your device. You can change or turn them off at any time on the Notifications page or in your phone's settings.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account and all of your data at any time from Profile > Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Children

My Parky Pal is not intended for children under 13.
